Free Portraits for Students!
COVID-19 has changed almost every aspect of life from grocery shopping to schoolwork. I know how difficult it can be to balance your pre-COVID routine with a drastically different schedule and financial situation. I saw people helping each other - making masks, volunteering, etc. - and thought , “What can I do to help my community?”. So, I decided to use my love of photography to help.
From now until the end of August I’m offering no-charge and pay-what-you-want mini-sessions to any parent or student that needs any kind of portrait. Whether it’s for a school yearbook, a graduation scrapbook, or just for friends and family, I have you covered!
Here’s how it works!
When you contact me, I’ll conduct a brief interview to get an idea of what your needs are (either in person or on the phone) and we’ll schedule a time for a session. The sessions last around 15 minutes of shooting time and around 10 minutes of photo selection time. Some last longer depending on how packed the schedule is. They take place at Lititz Springs Park, New Street Park, or a variety of nearby locations all over Lancaster county. We’ll go over the photos right there and you’ll pick your favorites, including one that you want as part of your free package. After I edit your top pick, I’ll email it to you. That photo is for you to keep forever. No strings attached.

If you want a longer session, I’m offering a heavily discounted rate specifically for high school seniors. My one hour sessions are usually $100, but I am taking 60% off, making the cost to you for the session $40. These sessions will be first come first serve as I have a limited number of spots available. The process works the same way as the free sessions - just contact me to schedule an interview and session and we’ll go from there. We’ll setup a meeting to go over which photos and prints you’d like and I’ll send you the edited photos and prints after you pay for your order. You can learn more about my 1-hour sessions here.

If you’d like to support me in my efforts to provide free portraits for students, I am offering a pay-what-you want session that works exactly like the free mini-sessions with the only difference being my everlasting gratitude for supporting a local small business.
If you’d like more photos, you can order them from me in a followup meeting where you pick the images you want prints of, select sizes and treatments. Those prints will not be free, but I will offer a discounted rate.
