What do you mean by “telling stories” ? I just want some photos or portraits.

“Telling stories” means that I don’t just do photos. A big part of the services I offer is interviewing people about their life, their family, and their history. Are you first generation American with a collection of family photos? Are you a teacher? Are you the latest in a long line of farmers? Are you getting married to the love of your life? Are you starting a family? Do you think you have a story people want to hear? I want to hear your story and take photos that help tell it.

And of course, I also take portrait, landscape, and commercial photos without the interviews and you can buy prints, albums, and digital photos.

Do you do weddings?

Yes! I do photograph a limited number of weddings a year, but there are a few caveats. If you’re interested in having me photograph your wedding, we would do an initial interview so I can get some information about what you’re looking for and about the venue, size, season, how many people might be in attendance, and your possible order size.

Why so selective about weddings? I want to offer my clients the best experience I can give them an affordable price. In order to do so, I need to be sure I can fit the amount of work into my schedule as I do not usually bring other photographers other than myself. I want to be sure to deliver the best possible product to my clients without compromising timeliness.

I do offer engagement sessions and pre-wedding “staged” photos with the bride, groom and wedding party.

So, what services do you offer?

I have spent almost twenty years focusing on multiple photographic disciplines. My main specialties are landscapes, portraiture, commercial and product, and photo editing and restoration.

But, I also teach photography workshops and offer one-on-one instruction. I do a limited amount of weddings a year. I do interviews and publish stories I write about fascinating people.
