Mill Creek Waterfalls and Lock 12

In this workshop, we will be traveling to Lock 12 in York County to capture some waterfalls, unique landscapes, and a dammed Susquehanna River. This course is intended for beginners, however, people of all skill levels are welcome.
In this workshop we’ll learn about the exposure triangle, basic landscape composition, shutter speed, color balance, types of natural lighting and open shade, and more!
What to bring:
- A camera (any will do, but a DSLR or mirroless camera is recommend)
- A tripod
- Any extra lenses or gear you’d like to bring
- Good, comfortable shoes
- Depending on your level of adventure, there will be anywhere from a little light hiking, to climbing down steep slopes please wear appropriate footwear. You may also want to bring a towel and a change of socks and/or rubber waterproof boots.
- Water to drink
- Food for a snack or lunch (no food will be provided, but we will break for lunch for 90 minutes)
- A pen/ pencil and paper
- A spirit of adventure
- A readiness to learn
Space for the workshop is limited to 8 people. Please provide your own mode of transportation. Payment is due before arrival. This event will continue with light rain, however, will be moved if heavier rain is in the forecast.
